Gold Medal Products Co.
10700 Medallion Drive
Cincinnati, OH 45241-4807
When David C. Evans bought Kings Ink Company in 1930, our world was a little smaller. With a mere $2000 borrowed on his home, Evans expanded the small company to include an entire food line sold under the Gold Medal Products label. When WWII gave rise to new opportunities, the company managed the responsibilities of continued growth while capitalizing on a new product line up. New product and manufacturing innovations in the 1940s and 50s allowed for continued expansion, while specialty items and eye-catching merchandising items created national attention and put Gold Medal at the top of the industry.
Later, a move to a much larger facility allowed for new manufacturing capabilities and the creation of engineering and marketing departments. While our world is a little bigger than it was 76 years ago, Gold Medal continues to foster a philosophy that keeps their creative energies focused while receiving the full benefit of experience and size.
Today,Gold Medals sales exceed $90 million with branches in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Orlando, Greensboro, Nashville, Indianapolis, Columbus, Jacksonville and New Orleans. The home office and manufacturing plant is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
